Credentialing Specialist- 1099 Contractor
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist to join our team on a contractor basis. If you’re highly organized, proactive, and experienced in provider or healthcare credentialing, this role offers flexibility and meaningful work—on your schedule.
What You’ll Do
Manage onboarding and credentialing files for providers
Verify licenses, certifications, and required documentation
Maintain accuracy and compliance across all records
Communicate with providers and internal teams to ensure timely completion
Support ongoing credentialing and re-credentialing tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
Experience in healthcare credentialing (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
Excellent communication and follow-through
Tech-savvy and comfortable working in digital systems
